Yeah, I ran into the same thing. I even asked the guy straight up, "Do you think that's a good way to treat customers," to which he replied, "no."

Jerks.

I'm seriously considering switching to cable.

because you can always keep up to date with there special offers, witch would give you a edge on how to keep winning the prizes, or always get the better deal. This would stop the people that are trying to save money from getting good deals, that you have already known about. So your basically cheating!!! They do this to bring more people in to there business and make a living!

Easy, they don't need to snag you, they already have. This is a snagging promotion. get you in for 12.99 for 12 months or 29.99 a month for 1 or 2 years, then charge you 50.00 a month there after, uh sound familiar, you have DSL?
