Depends on the person. I know a a few blond, hairless guys that are real morons. I'm hairy, but considered to have a very high intelligence.
Certainly body hair is dependent upon race/ethnicity. Most people from the tropical regions have little or no body hair except maybe in the pubic area or arm pits, and males may have little facial hair. Many eurasians and arabs, on the other hand, may have tons of body hair when they mature.
I do expect in a few hundred or thousand years, a lot of the body hair,will disappear as we slowly evolve.

This idea really messes with people who feel that caucasians are more "evolved" as they are usually more hairy than othe so called "races".
