A bala shark. They have pretty shiny silver scales and black tipped fins. They live for about 2 years and grow up 13 inches long. They grow quickly also.

I LOVE my silver dollar tetras that I have in my community tank. They started off so tiny (about an inch) about a month ago - they're up to a good two and a half inches now. They get along swimmingly with my other fish, and watching them eat algae chips is a trip.
Now, if you'd ask me what I loved best in my tank, I'd have to say it was my African dwarf frogs. They actually come up to the top of the tank when I call them, and I can get them to eat out of my hand.

My favourite fish is the Green Mandarin Goby. They can be a pain to get settled into a tank and I would not recommend one to a casual aquarium hobbyist, but they are absolutely beautiful and full of personality.

Polypterus ornatipinnis bichir. facinating fish, beautiful in a prehistoric kind of way, they originate from africa and are a lung fish.They reach up to 13 inches or more, and can live up to 25 yrs. Mine resides in a 80 gallon, with his tankmates 3 blood parrots which are a unique hybrid-species and have proven to be sizeable enougth that the bichir has not eaten them. :)

My favorite fish to catch is a bass and my favorite fish to eat is perch.

CICHLIDS!
But to choose one for behavior probably the Oscar. VERY personable fish, follow you back in forth in the tank like a puppy. Also excellent at training their pet humans to over feed them.
For beauty probaby the Demasoni. Gorgeous black and purple striped African Cichlid.

beta fish
because when you put a mirror up to their faces they think it is another fish . and they don't like other fish so then they put out their cheeky things on the sides of their head which makes them look funny.

I like as pets in the fishtank
- guppies - they are colourful, pretty and lively
- silver-tipped tetra - i adore their white spot on the top of their fins
- discus fish - they aro so calm, beautiful and elegant

Angel Fish . I love the way they swim. Their fins are like feathers.

Koi. I love Koi fish, they are so people loving and they can live long times. There are so many kinds and it is neat to see people interact with them
