Comedy Central has announced that they will produce 13 new episodes of Futurama to air in 2008. I've been really excited because it was one of my favorite shows, but also a little nervous because Family Guy has been sub-par at best since it was brought back from the grave. With that many years between seasons, you can bet there will be some new writers on the show. How do you think it'll be?

I'm sooo excited for Futurama to come back, almost as excited as I was for Family Guy...I have to disagree with you on saying that family guy is sub-par now. The episode where Peter's retarded? The fat guy strangler? Those were killer episodes! I hope that Futurama keeps the same writers though, and doesn't end up sucking like the simpsons have for the past 6 years.

Yeah but Family Guy was hyped too much and Fox is a really strict and conservative network. Comedy Central will let the creators have free and total control, so I'm very excited. Really glad that all the origional voices will be back too. I have high hopes for this, I think it'll be great.

Groening has still been doing animation with the Simpsons, so he should be on top of his game.

I think what hurts Family Guy is American Dad...I believe all the energy goes into Dad...which is fine with me, I think it is way funnier.
