Cybill says to go see a doctor

You don't need anything over the counter. What you NEED is to go to a migraine specialist. Keep a journal of your activities, diet, and headaches. Put specific times in for each event and fill it out EVERY DAY. This can help your doctor determine the type of migraines you are having. This will help to find a medication that works for you. I have migraines and have had them since I was 14. I didn't get relief until I saw a specialist in Atlanta.

Migraines are an auto-immune deficiency. People have been having great success with eliminating migraines by drinking Himilayan Goji Juice which is an adaptogen. It helps to rid the body of uric acid, free radicals, inflammation, bacteria, fungus and helps to create energy.
My daughter is a walking testimonial for the power of this berry, which has medical validation. She no longer even has headaches let alone migraines.

Try FEVERFEW!!! it's an herbal supplement that rescued me 10years ago...I was having them twice a month, & had just had a baby...couldn't crawl under the covers for a day or so to get rid of it anymore...so the hospital gave me Imitres...and promptly discovered I'm allergic to that....so talking to a friend, she told me about it & I started taking 1 capsule every day for the next 2 months...didn't have a single headache! Then it was almost 6 months before I got a vision disturbance (here it comes...) so I took another capsule & it went away, without ever exploding into a headache. Like I said, it's been over 10 years, & I've only had 1 migraine since then, when I was out of town without my supply of feverfew.

For one thing you need to find the cause. I never get migraines, but a couple of times I did. I work in health care, and figured out some foods caused them. One kind of wine will set them off, also chocolate. Some cheese will for some people. Also some women get them with periods. If you are not getting relief for Imitrex or whatever you take ask for referal to neurologist.

Excedrin migraine. Works great. If they are that bad you may want to ask your docor to give you a shot for them the shot will take the pain away and help you rest. I am not sure of the name of the shot but all doctors should know about it. They used to give it to my mom,
Good Luck, hope you get to feeling better.

Ice,quiet and earplugs along with sleeping sometimes helps. Maybe your neck is out of alignment see a chiropractor and if all else fails the ONLY thing that worked for me was the Imitrex nasal spray 3-30 seconds and it's gone!!!! Though when they are really bad I use ice quiet ear plugs and darkness along with the medicine and after waking up I feel like a new woman!!!! GOOD LUCK.

My mother in law takes the prescription Topomax everyday and since she has taken it she has not gotten a migraine. If you are trying to avoid medication, you can always lay in a dark room with a cold washcloth on your forehead.
