All of these have been great help!! Do you know of any other stores that carry anime besides Walmart?

Best Buy has good prices for new anime. Graphic novels, I'd take adventage of the bookstores membership deal (Barnes & Nobles give 20% though you have to pay a membership fee, Waldenbooks frequently has sales, and Borders has a rewards program) Though if you can wait a while to get them, I would, then check out half.com or amazon.com's used stuff. I've completed several older series at a great price that way.

For the GNs, Borders is a good place...almost all are $9.99. It's not too bad, could be worse. As for anime dvds, some times Wal*Mart has good sales, as well as Best Buy...Got some good sales on boxsets there...Game Stop is a nice place for some cheap dvds.

And yeah, the net is a nice place to get both ^__^ (although, I'm a hands on person, I'd rather have the real deal)

I've bought entire series for 30 dollars or less

If just want to rent
http://www.animetakeout.com
http://www.animeforest.com
http://www.blockbuster.com

These are a really good idea and save the most cash in the long run. You can watch a lot of anime in a short amount of time and then, if you find one you like enough you can go to the other sites and buy it. It kept me from buying a bunch that I would have ended up not liking.

Also, here are some Legal free downloads of unlicensed anime

Enjoy.

As far as the manga goes, borders, comic shops, but your best bet is a convention or specialty import store.
I hope this helps.

This seems kind of cliche but I've brought almost all of my anime collection from eBay. Most of them are in new to very good condition and a lot of them I have brought for pretty much half price.... you've just got to know what to search for!

deepdiscountdvd.com has a fair share of inexpensive Anime, and free shipping. I buy movies there all the time, but for the novels, I couldn't tell you

Rightstuf.com, they've got so much good anime and manga for really decent prices, you'll think you went to an Anime con through your computer.
