What is DX?Which were the members of DX?

I have no knowledge about wrestling.I have recently started watching it ,so please help..........

Ahh man DX is on of the greatest groups of all time(when it kicked ***, WWF not that gay *** WE) It started i believe by Shawn Micheals with HHH and Chyna, then X-Pac and then Road Dogg Jessie James & Billy Gunn aka The New Age Outlaws


Great Memories, i just found about they recently got again but maybe they are going to be a nightmare for their enemies.

NOTE: I noticed its Shawn Micheals and HHH. I know for a fact that the New Age Outlaws are in TNA Wrestling so sucks they will most likely not be there, X Pac might come back , Chyna i dont think she wrestles anymore. I guess by bringing back WWE i think Vince was in a desprete move to get back its audience and he might get sum old fans back.Just wondering who else is going to join, and i hope they dont make any looser just gets in cuz they will kill their Reputation of destroying anything/anyone

The original Degeneration X was formed in 1997 and consisted of HBK Shawn Micheals, HHH and a ripped female by the name of Chyna (only female to ever hold the Intercontinental Championship). They weren't supposed to be funny like they are now- they were the top "bad guys" in the company and the best tag team I have ever known.Unfortunately, this ended at Wrestlemania 14 when Stone Cold beat Micheals for the belt. Micheals went into retirement because he needed back surgery because of the Undertaker, and he only actually returned in 2002.

Degeneration X was reformed in 1999 and consisted of HHH, "X-Pac" Sean Waltman, "The One" Billy Gunn and "Road Dogg" Jesse James. This was the group that had all the classic funny moments DX is trying to imitate today. DX eventually kicked Billy Gunn out, and then the team crumbled when Triple H betrayed Waltman and James for McMahon.

Triple H and HBK had the most heated feud in wrestling history upon HBK's return in 2002. The two men once exchanged championships in a time period of about a month, and are two of the most celebrated superstars in WWE history. HBK is a four-time WWE World Champion, while Triple H has held the gold ten times. Eventually, their battle against the common enemy (McMahon) caused them to unite and form the third version of Degeneration X.

Well, i love wrestling, so i am here to help. DX stands for Degeneration X, which was started a few years ago by Shawn Micheals (The Heartbreak Kid, whom i love), and Triple H. It was startes to piss off the boss, Vince Mcmahon, by not conforming to what "the Man" thinks wrestlers should do or say. There were many memebers of DX, such as Chyna, Bad *** Billy Gunn, Xpac, and Road Dogg Jessie James. Right now, only the original members remain, but believe things will be getting interesting very soon!

DX was during the WWE attitude era. It was formed by HBK & Triple h. The members of DX in the beginning were Chyna, HHH , HBK & the lateRick Rude. Then it was reformed when HBK left the DX & the group was realigned with HHH as the leader With chyna, Billy Gunn, Roadogg & X-pac. Then the group split & has reformed with the two founder members HBK & HHH coming together again. Degeneration X was during the time when WWE was at it's peak & the Group was WWE's greatest crowd puller. Lets hope the two rekindle the same fire again.............

The true genesis of DX occurred on August 18, 1997 when Michaels and Triple H were forced to team up by Commissioner Slaughter. Michaels and Triple H were victorious that night over Undertaker & Mankind, and over the next few weeks, they began to be seen together more and more. On Sept. 20 of that year, Triple H and bodyguard Chyna helped Michaels defeat the British Bulldog for the European Championship at One Night Only. This was the next “big” moment in the evolution of DX, as the trio was now officially together. With then-WWE Champion Bret Hart continuously calling them degenerates, the official name “D-Generation X” was coined on October 13, signifying the official beginning of the group’s lore.
The end of Michaels’ tenure as leader of DX would finally come at WrestleMania XIV. Michaels defended the WWE Championship against Austin, and the referee was knocked out late in the match. Tyson would come in to count the winning pinfall for Austin, leading to a confrontation between Tyson and Michaels. After Michaels shoved Tyson, the former boxer floored him with a right hand, knocking the former WWE Champion out. The next night, Triple H relieved Michaels of his duties as leader of DX


after that it was water under the bridge but it was fun whiole it lasted, i wonder what they ave in store ths time around, any new members?

The members through the years have consisted of:

Triple H
Chyna
Ravishing Rick Rude (He was the Advisor)
Jim "The Anvil" Nighthart for about 1 minute and the DX turned on him.
X-Pac
The Road Dogg
Billy Gunn
Tori (briefly X-Pac's girlfriend)
Kane and X-Pac were tag champs together but I believe this was after DX had broken up.
