Think of all the Signs left in field's all over the world, UFO Sighting's dating back to the early 50's, maybe before that, people just disapearing and never found, even I have seen an unexplained UFO sitting at the edge of a field late one night with light's revolving around the bottom, and no I wasn't drinking!

Yes! I think it could most definitely happen to us. One would have to be very naive and simple-minded to think it could not happen. Many people don't let current FACTS actually sink into their brain. There are so many conditions on other planets that are habitable for small organisms. Certain bacteria(extremophiles) thrive on extreme living conditions. That is how life started on our planet, and if nothing else there are definitely other forms of life elsewhere. But still, someone would have to be so self involved to think that there couldn't possibly be a other life form of superior intelligence.

I can tell a lot of people are disturbed by war of the worlds so let's speculate for a moment that aliens are without a doubt real and have the ability to visit Earth...remember this is pure unscientific speculation for the heck of it.

Well then, if you believe all the alien buffs, they've been here for a while and are rather well established. So these aliens that spend their time drawing in corn fields and doing immoral things to cattle for God knows what reasons, have obviously claimed this planet as part of their empire and don't seem to intend to let anyone else touch it and exterminate their wonderful corn and cows to grow blood weeds.

So be happy you are part of an alien empire and don't even know it!

Pure speculation of course.

As far as if they planted space ships before we existed.....i doubt it. We do so much construction and building we would of found something by now. As far as just War of the Worlds.....it's possible. But like they say in the movie Signs, they would use ground tactics becuase they would be afraid that we would use our nuclear weapons and the planet would be useless. Unless the intentions are just to destroy use than I guess they wouldn't care.
Now I'm pretty sure if they're so smart than they would have known about bacteria and viruses, so the chance of them dying becuase of that is highly unlikely.

To think that we are the only life in the universe would be pompous and ignorant, I just hope that when other life forms visit earth they are more like the peaceful Vulcans in Star Trek than the aliens in War of the Worlds

I am 100% sure that we are not the only living spices in the universe, maybe some day UFO will come but did they come for war no one knows.

If extraterrestrials ever show up here and their intentions are hostile we are totally f***ed because if they have mastered space travel we would seem like a planet full of monkey-men to them. Hopefully if this ever does occur they will be friendly and help us out with our problems instead of enslaving our entire species.

It could happen... I mean, the universe is such a huge space and it's possible that we're not the only "living" planet around...

No! It couldn't happen because we are a barbaric race and we have weapons of mass destruction, including chemical gas and nuclear weapons we would use on them.
