I saw eight or nine of these huge birds circling in and out of each other relatively close to the ground. I thought they were hawks, but I'd never heard of hawks grouping like that. My brother says they were probably turkey buzzards, which look like hawks from a distance, and have the large wingspans. They also circle around animals, sometimes in groups like that, since they are vultures. That sounds most likely. I didn't see the red heads they have, but I might have been just a bit too far too notice. Would hawks ever behave like that? Probably the buzzards, eh? It was pretty cool to see, anyway. :)
