Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
(The creation of Man and Woman)
Genesis 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
(The first time Adam is mentioned. Seems to me that man was created before Adam, he was just the first human named in the scripture, so yes, he had a belly button.)
Genesis 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
(Eve had no belly button.)

Irrelevant since it is a myth. If the Adam and Eve story is true, then the Earth is less than 6000 years old, as literalist Bible thumpers preach. Well then that means no dinosaurs, no oil could exist, no diamonds, most of the star light couldn't be there, there couldn't be people (Native Americans) in the Western Hemisphere to great the European explorers, there couldn't be Asian or African people, and there couldn't be certain geographic structure such as Hawaii or most mountain ranges.
But let us deal with just one little fact. We can look up and actually see the Andromeda galaxy at night with the naked eye. It has been calculated that Andromeda's distance from Earth is 2.52 million light years. That means when we look up and see this, we are seeing light that has left that galaxy 2.52 million years ago. So, if the Adam and Eve story was fact, we could not look up and see Andromeda.
Historically, the majority of civilizations had various creation stories. The reason Adam and Eve (and the other creation story that is also in the Bible, so like how does one justify that one) became this official creation story is because Jesus was Jewish and so the whole Jewish civilization stories became important. Had Jesus been an Iroquois Indian, the creation story would have entailed a virgin falling from Heaven, landing on a beach, and then giving birth to twin sons. See what we missed out on?

Probably not. In fact, there's an old joke that asks, "How can we identify Adam and Eve in heaven? Answer: They're the ones without belly buttons!"
Boo, hiss! I know it's bad.
But it's also logical. . .

Yes, they were made, but we were made in the likeness of them; so more than likely they did. You will no one day; why ponder the questions that cannot really be answer in our lifetime.
