I m not answering the question... I just want to answer to that INCOMPETENT with the nickname "GUESS": you should LEARN about soccer before opening your mouth. Nothing else... you are not even worth my time.
And for the other that are filling their mouth with the word "playing well to win"... look at Spain, a Team who was playing "very well" and they are out. Or Mexico, they played "very well" with Argentina, but they are out. Czech Republic # 2 ranked by FIFA in the world: they're out. Brasil is not playing well and they are in. England is not playing well and they are in. Hummm... think about that before "spitting" sentences that come from biased opinions. The soccer World Cup is a unique tournament where each game has its own story, where the score is more important than the "playing well".

After what happened to Pessotto (Juventus) the Azzurri will double their power just for him and they will reach the final.

I think they are likely to make it to the Final because of the teams they are playing but when they meet Germany or Brazil in the Fianl they would probably loose. just look at the Australia game, they should have whupped Australia but they got lucky with the penalty. Thats not the way u win a world cup.

As much as I would like to seem that make it all the way I do not think that they will. They have about nine yellow cards in total and one player ejected from the most recent game-- though I think that was a rip-off by the ref. anyway the main reason is brazil is very strong and I think brazil is going to beat everyone

As the first guy said, its like playing 12 vs 11,
ALSO, anyone notice that the games that Italy plays Usually have these Controversial Refs (i cant remember their game against Ghana game, second game against US, third game against Czechs, the more recent with Australia)
Feel sad for Australia becauze they were playing good

In QF they are facing Ukraine so they might easily make there way to Semi's

i think they have a real darn good chance too... they should easily beat ukraine, and they're real challenge will come against germany/argentina... they may need a little luck on their side to beat either of these two teams, yet i think it could become quite a classic match, and who knows.. .maybe they could pull it off!

I think so becos traditionally Italy are like that and I favor them.. LIke their 'mafia' movie counterparts, they store up full ammunition and come out firing all directions at final showdown.l
