Hockey Rules ! Watched as much as I could, uummmm.......moved the first of May and wasn't able to get OLN, was not a happy camper, But once NBC came in and televised the last 4 games I was glued to the TV.
Don't ya just love seeing the respect the players give each other with the traditional end of game handshake ? What other sport shows that kind of respect ?

Is it October yet ??

Of course. I'm a Sabres fan, and you know if four of our starting defensemen and a staring center hadn't been injured, the Sabres may have made it to the cup finals, maybe won it all. But that's the nature of the game and injuries are a part of that. No regrets actually. Loved the playoffs this year. I thought the Oilers really showed a lot of heart and spunk taking the Canes to seven games. The Canes earned it, even if I was not pulling for them. They were a great story. So were the Oilers and Sabres. I can't wait until next season.

I did, but hockey will never be big. Americans do not have the patience to watch a low scoring, free flowing game. It's just like soccer, Americans will never embrace it. They need sports where they can see a measurable result on a very consistent basis. Be it a basket, a hit, or a play that picks up a few yards.
