you aren't overweight. I'm quite sure the doctors would have told you to gain that weight anyway. When you get pregnant you have to expect to gain at least 20 to 30 pounds.....plus for you to had only been 101 that's little and that baby need all the fat and extra weight you can put on. So stop worrying after you have the baby you can always breast feed which helps you lose weight or you can always take the baby to the park for a walk. Than there's the always the gym

you have gained 29 lbs which is pry about average with pregnancy. i am not sure, but you should ask your doc. i am 5'2" and was 107 before my first pregnancy. i gained roughly 30 - 32 lbs each time and i was fine.

if you are asking if you are overweight in general and upset you have gained due to pregnancy then get over it. you do what is best for your child and then worry about your weight after the baby has come.

read some pregnancy books as well......from what i remember the most weight gain for the baby comes in the last month, averaging almost a pound per week before birth.

It is true that you should be seen by your Dr. But, I wouldn't worry too much assuming there aren't any other complications. That's only a 29 pound weight gain which is fine. In my first pregnancy I gained about 40 pounds, the baby was healthy, I was healthy, and after the pregnancy I lost it all and then some.

As long as you are getting prenatal care regularly you will be fine. Don't stress about your weight gain, especially near the end. If you are really concerned, don't decrease the amount you eat, just eat better things. Worry about the weight after the baby is born. You have the rest of your life to stress about your weight, you only have 5 more weeks to enjoy being pregnant! Best of luck with your delivery!

According to the figures of the US health department you were slightly underweight before you got pregnant, at your BMI (17.9) it is recommended to gain 35 lb during your pregnancy. So you did very well, should gain an extra 4lb in the next month, and congratulate yourself on being a role model :-)

No dear you shouldn't worry with my first I was 112 and gained 30 lbs. With my second I was 115 and gained around 40 so as long as the baby is healthy and you are happy no worries!!

NO that's not really overweight, you are at the point in your pregnancy where you are going to gain quicky beacuse the baby is growing rapidly. I am almost 33 weeks and I am 5'9'' and weigh 217 and I am not fat at all. So don't you feel a little better?

Your pregnant! You have only gained like 5 pounds more than the minimum your supposed to gain. Worry about eating enough for you, your baby, and making milk. You will have plenty of time after to lose it.

Best of luck and congrats!

If you start out small, your goal weight gain is larger, between 35-40 lbs. You sound just right.
