i am 13 year old girl and my boyfriend is 11 or 12 years old. Does it really matter if your boyfriend is a year or 2 younger then you??

First of all you should know his age. Is it 11 or 12? Yes, age makes a big difference especially if your young. It's a maturity thing. The older you are the wiser you supposedly get. Take your time when it comes to finding a boyfriend you have a whole life in front of you and, alot of decision making. Start here . NO....2 years younger is not a problem. But hon, why don't you wait until you're a little bit older to find a boyfriend? You're so young and you have a whole life ahead of you. As you get older, you'll realize yourself that age doesn't matter....as long as you are happy! For now, why not just be good friends.....

it shouldn't matter, but at the same time if there is a a huge maturity difference, it could affect your relationship. Immature bf/gf/ can also cause problems with friends that are on a different level. If you are both happy and get along, it shouldn't matter though.
