There was a live song I heard recently, and apparently it's Avril Lavigne singing a Dixie Chicks song called "You Were Mine".
I just couldn't believe it's Avril coz compared to her kind of music, that song was a bit tamer. Couldn't get a video version of it, though. Could it be that there's a country singer on the rise that almost has the same voice as Avril's?

Yea Avril sang "You Were Mine" at a karaoke contest a few years before she hit it big and a few copies of her version have leaked onto the internet. And as for it being country and Avril on her own "genre" of music, remember that she started country and won that Shania Twain contest for "what made you say that".

Well wow, I can't imagine Avril doing that. I am sorry but I can't stand the Dixie Chicks and I thought Avril had better taste than that.
I guess it is possible.
