I just want someone to talk to and be friends with. Everyone I meet in the chatrooms are so preoccupied with the physical, baring all or getting into a hotchat. Where can I go to make friends?

Go to various websites having to do with those, where there are other people who like to do and talk about the same things. Many of these websites have chatrooms, keep looking til you find some good ones. Also, look in groups, for those that would appeal to you. Usually when people meet to chat about common interests, the conversations are more friendly and sincere.
