I like red lipstick is sexy on a date or just going out in public with black hair it would look super sexy. I would try wearing red lipstick with a lip gloss over it to make it look shiny.

Red lipstick..is really sexy! but you have to match it with the right stuff. it would look really hot with black hair and green eyes, just make sure you would pick the right shade ;)

There is one thing about red lipstick that creates the allure of a promise. There are many shades of red, choose one that looks right on you, it may be brick red, red, maroon red, look at me red, cherry red, plum red, choose the best one, also if wearing a bright red lipstick go easy on the eyes, in makeup you either stress the eyes or the mouth, doing both would make you seem overdone. A well lined mouth is also attractive and choose colors that don't make your teeth look yellow. It mostly depends on your skin tone, try a few shades and decide which is best for you.

Yes, it would in the right setting. Red is not your "every day" shade (you wouldn't want to wear it to work or school) But for the right occasion, or nightclubbing, I LOVE red lipstick on women with jet black / dark hair. Red is tricky, there IS a shade for everyone. Some reds have a blue undertone (cool), some are warm, some are deep (almost burgandy), some are way too bright (for the person wearing it-my personal pet peeve) and some are orangey. Make sure you get the one just right for you. If you are dark skinned or tan for the summer, bright looks great!

I think it would look really good just choose the right shade of red for the right occasion though with the right outfit. A little brighter for night and a little less loud for day but downplay or neutralize the rest of the makeup so as not to look so "hooker-ish". I think red is sexy and a bit daring, I myself like wearing it. In fact, a friend told me once (when I was wearing red) that not anyone will wear it - it takes a confident woman to wear it.

I wear red lipstick all the time, but I have blond hair & brown eyes. You could pull it off better than I can for sure!

I have black hair and green eyes with a pale complexion. I wear my red lipstick with black mascara and thats all. I always look 40's-50's when I wear it like this.

My eyes are green and hair really dark brown (almost black). I tried red, looks trampy. My favorite lipstick combination with green eyes is Berry.

I don't like red lipstick.... I guess I think its more of an uptown business look than a home town look. I think that is does look the best on women with black hair though.

I think red lipstick would look divine on you, with your green eyes and black hair! Just don't make them too shiny. I would just use a matte red lipstick, no gloss overtop. Too much shine is just plain TOO much. Good luck sweetie!
