I watch my friends 4 kids and she never says thank you or is happy with the progress i've made with her preme twins

Because they enjoy watching other people fall into misery, and also the fact that they are stupid and have nothing else to do.

There are three many reasons why people take advantage of you
Sadly, you are right!! Most people mistake kindness as a form of weakness!!! Ironically, these are the same people who are mistreated they soon realize how greatful they are for good people like you.
Secondly, some people have never had someone be nice to them without wanting something and when your nice the always think you have amotive so they treat you mean to see if your motive will become clear and once they realize you have no motive they will stop be walking all over you
Thirdly, Some people just try to test how far you'll go. To those people you must stand your ground and be firm.

Because They Mistake Your Kindness For Denseness Therefore Making Them Feel They Have The Right To Walk Over You Because They Think You Wont Do Anything About It.

I don't know why. It is different for everyone but, I do know I came to reality that I do not do what I do for thanks....I do it because that is the kind of person that I am and I always want to do the right thing. Feel good in knowing that you are making the lives of the children better. You are doing the right thing......not for thanks but because you are a beautiful person and you don't want to change that.

Stand up for yourself. I did this week. I was watching my sister 4 kids and she took advantage of me. I was only charging her $100 a week and she owes me 300. I do not watch them anymore.She never said thank you either.
