Dimensions can be variables.

Example: Length, Width and Hight
When a large mass is present in space (Earth), it creates this dent in space (explains gravity) and distorts the shape of the objects around that large mass.

You're confusing temporal time (the time that humans measure) with the arrow of time (the direction in which entropy is increasing in the universe). It's the arrow of time that's the 4th dimension.
