Nope!! Clinton is Democrat so no matter what he did the Republicans would never back him up that is just the way of politics.

In my opinion: Of course not! Political parties stick together. The situation would be completely reversed- the Democrats would be backing the President and the GOP would be "demanding action" or whatever the current phraseology is.
It's really sad how people only think along party lines anymore.

Clinton is too much of a pansy to actually stand up and fight back (as seen during his presidency with the embassy bombings, the USS Cole, and the 1993 world trade center bombing) so the question is pretty irrelevant. Although if he had, I would have had more respect for him.

I always have had respect for the President regardless of party but it's plain to see that liberals will never agree or support anything President Bush does and will never give him any credit.

possibly...but the better question would be would the Dems support him? and the answer to that would be Yes.
