- Does this car has an ALDL port? If it does where is it located?

This means that a malfunction has occurred and the ABS and traction control has defaulted to the off position. The fault is most likely at the wheel speed sensors because the same sensors are used in both systems. Check for moisture and dirt at the connectors and for the build up of dirt and mud on the pulse rings. These look like gears at the rear of the wheels and the sensors are pointing to the pulse rings with usually 1 wire and a connector. If this doesn't work you will have to go and get a diagnostic scan from Vauxhall or your local repairer. Jules, Auto tech and lecturer. Australia.

well check the manual, it should tell you what the dash indicator lights signify.

the ABS being ON is a good thing.

Hook up almost any scan tool that OBDII compatible. Autozone does this for free in TX. Of course, you could take your car to the shop..duh.
