Aloe plant... God's blessing to the burnt. Apply it right from the leaf, after pealing and slicing the outer skin away from the inner stuff. Use plenty and often because at first your skin just drinks it in . My grandson got too close to a barbeque and really charred a spot on his arm about as big as a fifty cent piece .. Shreik and holler...we sliced some aloe and applied, instant relief..again, at first it only lasts a few moments, so keep it handy.Did not even leave a scar. I don't know the best store-bought lotion, but for my dime i'd go for the one w/ the most aloe..Oh yeah,,, you might be young, and invincible, but listen to an old pale-skin... After the years go by, here comes the basal-cell carcinomas, squamous cell carcinomas.(Heck I even had a thing cut off me called a "merkel' ?) and if you ain't got much luck,The "M" word.It can really mar you up... Melanoma. I saw a guy's back in the locker room, and he had 2 roundish looking scars ...one about the size of a baseball, and the other half-again bigger..awesome. dumb ole me, I had to ask, DANG !! What happened to your back? He told me that they had been melanomas, and that when they spotted them and removed them, they only were as big as green peas on the surface..Cancer the crab. The Sun is most definitely not my friend.

The best way to get rid of a sunburn is aloe vera. Yeah, fresh off the plant. They used if for radioactive burns. Its only good for up to 7hrs after being picked. Try it!!!

oh...i can answer this question real well!! Okay you see. i had a sunburn like 2 weeks ago because i was very light skinned.. now I'm a little darker!!all you have to do is put some cocoa butter on it for the first time and then you have to keep putting that on there.. and it will then start to get hard and you can pill it stuff.. but don't do that!!So when you take a shower or bath.. take a cool bath or shower then put some good, moistyourizing lotion on ur sunburn.. and wait ti swimming like a couple of days and then when you wanna swim again.. just put a lot of sunscreen all over your body!

Use vinegar. It helps take the sting out, and helps get rid of it.

You can't get rid of it. Your skin needs to heal. Try using aloe vera gel, it's cool and it will make you feel better. Next time use sunblock. It only take three harsh burns to get cancer.
