AI's as in Artificial Intelligence?

If you are asking if an AI system could replace a psychologist.

The answer is no. Here is why...

"I think, therefore I am." AI can never have Cognition. It may simulate Cognition, but the simulation is as genuine as Microsoft's Flight Simulator is to Actual Flying.

AI's can only offer a designated response drawn from the initial choices. It doesn't have wisdom drawn from experience. Oh yea... There are AI's that have the ability to learn from their mistakes, but the systems do not understand what it is that was learned.

A woman goes to a local restaurant and orders a cheese burger. She takes one bite then quickly runs out the front door. Why? Wether you like it, or not, you've already answered that in your mind. The answer was based on your experience.

An AI system can not give a conclusion to the question because every answer would be correct and every answer would be equally incorrect.

Therefore, it can't effectively answer even if the system could learn from it's experience.

Psychology is not an exact science primarily because it depends on the intuitive wisdom of experience. The psychologist must understand the client by developing a kind of relationship with the client. A machine can not develop that kind of relationship.
