Whatever happened to the great Laser Arcade game Cliffhanger?

This was THE MOST POPULAR Laser game (Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, etc.) game at our Mall's Alladin's Castle arcade in the mid 80's. I keep hoping for an Xbox or PC version but NADA!!!

Dead and buried, never to been seen again.

It shares a grave with games like decap attack, chaos and army men.
