Besides the obviousness of it being flat.

the flatter face of a flat screen TV produces an image that has less distortion due to the curvature of the screen.
(the corners of a regular TV are bowed outward compared to the center of the screen, causing a slight distortion of the picture)

one (exaggerated) way to consider the effects are to envision something written on a sheet of paper flat against the wall (flat screen), and then on the same paper wrapped around a basketball (regular screen) - the edges of the paper when wrapped around the ball are less clear because you are seeing them more edge on than on the center of the ball facing you.

The screen on a regualr Tv is curved and on a flat screen it its flat. If you look at both from the side you will be able to see the difference.

Well, the fact that it is flat makes it easier to see anywhere in the room. you don't get as much of a glare as you would from a regular more rounded TV screen.

no, flat screen, has way better picture, i admit tho that flatscreen tvs are overrated, but the picture is better, but if you just want a tv and don't want to spend a whole bunch of money, just geet normal screen tv, unless you are like opening a theater or surround sound system, normal are best choice

look at them. a regular t.v. has a curved screen- concave or convex, i forget which- and a flat screen is exactly that. flat screens also have better resolution and less possibility for glare.

you pretty much covered it, one is flat the other isn't. flat screens also usually are not cathode ray but use LCD or plasma usually this makes them brighter, clearer, and less radioactive

I've had both and I honestly prefer a curved screen. Not sure why, but I do.
