The budget takes years to develop. It started way before Bush was President, and yes Bush did add to it but it was already in a crises when Clinton was President. As for asking a silly question as that maybe you should have been giving Clinton the BJ since you are so infatuated with it instead with the real facts.

Bush is in debt BECAUSE Clinton wasn't. Running a huge surplus for so long a time actually damages the economy. It's called fiscal drag. Basically, it states that the economy needs to spend money to make money. When you run a huge surplus like Clinton did, that's a lot of money just sitting around not going towards fueling the economy, and it was only a matter of time when the economy's momentum runs out and it starts to stall. That time just so happened to come when Clinton was about to leave office, so Bush got stuck with the blame.

Clinton set an incredibly bad example for the nation. You must understand when you become president that people will have faith in your ideals, and Clinton's affair caused everyone to completely lose that faith.
Although Bush does get more than his fair share of nudges from US citizens, and he brought the States into a larger national debt than ever before, at least people trust him when he is speaking.
Think about it! Every time you see Clinton on television, what is the first thing you think of? The Lewinski affair thats what.

All the Republicans can understand is that Clinton got his pee pee sucked...so he must be bad (yes this is sarcasm in case there are some Republicans who don't understand that). Never mind about lying us into a war where thousands of American soldiers and well over 100,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed. Even if you don't think that he lied, which the evidence clearly indicates he did (refer to the "Downing Street Memo", and the testimony of Richard Clark, to name a few), then at the minimum, you must recognize the incompetence he has displayed both in the lead-up to the war and in the management (or mismanagement) of it. This level of lying and/or incompetence (however one chooses to look at it) is disgusting and unacceptable and far worse than anything Clinton ever did. People have died, lives have been irrevocably altered, our global reputation has been destroyed...and terrorism is on the rise, not the decline. You cannot even compare these two presidents.

there is more to the presidency than economics...and our economy is actually doing quite well....amazing for a time of war. The horrible thing Clinton did sexually is between him and the mrs. When he lied under oath....I have a problem with that. I don't think he was a bad President...just maybe a little too much like a kid in a candy store. I don't think Bush is a bad President either...I think he is just what we needed.

Clinton did 1 good thing while in power - he made it so one could live their life on welfare. He was lucky that the .com industry happened on his watch. He did nothing to create it, or facilitate it. If it wasn't for 9/11 Bush would have been an unknown in the history books, just as Calvin Collage.

As for Clinton I could careless where he placed his cigar. He did make Monica wealthy. His crime was he committed perjury. I wish he left office without his pension.

Clinton was coming out of debt because of hte groundwork the Father Bush had laid out. GW Bush is in debt because of hte crappoy job that CLinton did...It takes a few years to make/lose billions of dollars...Maybe Clinton should have paid more attention to his job than to interns....

Giving Reagan/Bush credit for the economy under the Clinton years is like giving Jimmy Carter credit for the fall of the USSR.

ever wonder how Clinton got that 'surplus'?

Look at how many of your liberl loving social programs he cut funding to, and then look at how much Bush has put back into them.

By the way, clinton did a lot more than get a b.j., and no, i'm not talking about what that deviant did with a cigar, I'm talking about white water, etc.....

look at all his co-crooks he pardoned his last hours of office. It's disgusting to look at WHO he pardoned. Every president has pardoned people, but compare the people/ crimes to clintons, and you will get ticked off.

Does this surprise you?
I'd venture to say that lying about a bj is not anywhere near the hundreds of things the Bush family has done over the last few decades!
