Physics is a creative science. It was probably developed to explain things that cannot be explained by the other sciences. That is why physics seems to be on the cutting edge.

Nothing is just something that we don't know how to explain yet. Give it a few years and guys like the professor you can read about in the source below will start explaining it all.

well the same as the physics of a vacuum. The root of the word "vacuum" is "empty" and I think that is the closest you'll ever get to understanding the physics of nothing

The physics of nothing is probably based on the notion that atoms are mostly empty space (nothing). So, telling someone that they are nothing is actually a true statement since they are made up of mostly nothing.

There is background radiation left over from the big bang. This rediation is present everywhere in the three dimensional universe and is only absent with more dimensions and deep space. What goes on there is another question.
