i haven't convinced myself that i am. in fact i'm pretty convinced that i'm not, but my body is trying to tell me different. so i'm pretty sure that it's not in my head. and it wasn't a normal period, it was shorter(only 3 days, usually 6) and a lot lighter, sometimes just spotting or no blood until i wiped. (sorry)

Well ... if you make yourself (and your body) believe that you're pregnant ... you would actually get a lot of the symptoms. You might still get your period ... actually you would most likely still get your period. So it is possible that you're not really pregnant ... you're just making your body believe that it's pregnant.

Check your stomach and see if you actually are getting a little bigger. And also your appetite should be growing b/c you'd be eating for two.

Usually though when you get a negative on an hpt, especially after a month of pregnancy, that means you're not pregnant. But people (and tests), can be wrong.

You could still also get your period when you're pregnant ... at least ... my mother tells me she still had hers when she was pregnant with her children (including me), but you never know.

Just check your stomach, try another test maybe, and see if you are actually hungrier than normal.

It is possible that you could have symptoms of pregnancy and still have a period. But you would show positive on a pregnancy test due to a hormone that shows up in your body when you are pregnant. What you might be experiencing because you have convinced yourself you are your body is producing symptoms without being pregnant

Yea its possible but not too common some women have there periods while pregnant and sometimes it could take more than one test. I believe going to the doctor is your best option. The doctor could do an ultrasound to see if there is any fetus. Also sometimes when you worry too much it could make your body act as if it was pregnant. Hope my answer is of some help.

its possible...the bleeding/spotting you had could have been implantation (not all women get this though).
Go see you doctor and see what he says and maybe request some blood to be taken...good luck to you hun
