Do the people that work the firework stands sleep in them also?

Yes, they often times do. Also, many times they sleep next to the stand in a travel trailer or RV- that is how the do it here in Hungry Horse, MT. Every one of the stands in this area has an RV or camper parked next to or behind it.

I suspect that while this is so the stands do not get burglarized, I also think they may be required by law to have someone on site at all times as a security precaution because of the large amount of explosive/incendiary devices stored in such a small area.

Most do, but some have a small mobile home or camping trailer parked next to the fireworks stand to protect the stand and it's contents. I speak from experience.

Usually they will sleep in the stand or in a camper outside of the stand. when working at a fireworks stand it is never to be left alone.

I think they sleep in campers or trailers in the parking lots where the stand is set up. Similar to how one would stay on a tree lot or pumkin lot urng those times of the year.

yes most of them do, they get paid about $2500 to work the stand for 2-3 weeks. Most people who don't sleep in them stay in a trailer nearby.

Actually they don't where I live. They have seatrains that they store the fireworks in.

here in my town they do any carry guns to protect the tents too
