I suppose it is something you wear when you swim, but what is it exactly? Thanks.
Sorry, but English is not my mother tongue...I don't know the meaning of "speedoes".

I' m not talking about "Speedo", I know it is a brand. I'm talking 'bout "speedos". Some people in yahoo answer continue to ask: "What do you think of wearing speedos?" (Plural, with the final "s".)

It's a really tight spandex type material. A bikini for men. Without the top.

I think your confusion is based on people calling all of this kind of swim suits by one brands name.. I think its interesting, because where i'm from there are plenty of examples for this, that you dont even think about.. for example
Kleenex instead of tissue.. everyone calls them kleenex! even if its made by the competitor
So speedos are really a product that speedo started, and now everything in this category of swimsuit is called speedo

originaly speedo company sold mainly to competition swimmers . small and sleek swimm wear desighned to have minimal resistance in the water. so when someone refers to "speedo's " they are refering to a type of swim wear- not neccesarily a brand. small ,tight and form fitting

The name is an apparel manufacturer. Good quality apparel if you ask me. Not only do they make skin tight outfits but they also make great board shorts.

It's a really tight bikini bottom for men...it kinda makes them look hotter for some; some hate them!!!
