My friend had her period and negative blood preg test and found out she was 6 mos preg!?

Faulty test
Low hormone levels at the time of the test.
Stupid person doing the test.
She could have gotten pregnant right after the test was taken, and close to or during her period.
Some women bleed during pregnancy, it can be normal.
Thats a bummer for your friend. Unless she wants a baby, then I'm happy for her.

It isn't. Not if she just did the test ...got a negative and then suddenly found out she was 6 mos pregnant. I mean how exactly did she find out? She had to have had a blood test.

wow, don't know but something similar happened to me. I missed periods before because I'm skinny and I had my period every other month,started not feeling well and thought I had diabetes! Went to get checked out the next day and they tested me for preg.... yep I was 4 months pregnant. I had gained 10lbs or so but I had no idea.

I had the same thing but found out at 4 months. Test was bunk tested negative. My period stopped at 4 months of being pregnant. Made the pregnacy go by faster!!! lol...but yes it does happen to some of us.

hey hun unfoirtunetly pregnancy isnt all that some ppl make it it really all depends on her progesteron levels if they were low then they wouldnt show up on a preg test whatever kind it is, and many women have a period while preg that once again depends on hormones. all in all its each women is different and things effect them differently!! hope all went well for her

There is always the chance of a false negative pregnancy test....Never a chance of a false positive......Is she taking the pill????? If so the periods will come regularly......If not, sometimes people just have periods while they are pregnant for some strange reason......Hope she didn't wait until now to get care for the baby......There's vitamins she needs and she had to have felt the baby kick before now.........

a small number of women have it's problem, my mom was one of them, she never had a positive pregnancy test (urine or blood at the doctors office) she found she was pregnant with me when she was 5 months along, because she had a pelvic exam and was purple inside.
my mother had her period all through pregnancy and gained only 15 lbs (she weighed 115lbs when she had me)

u can't be always sure. i dun think this is.......u would have known because in 6 months pregancy, ur friend should have an audible lump on her belly. and u should hav noticed. pregancy tests can be wrong sometimes. try going to a doctor and have a REAL ONE.
