No, but I wouldn't have blamed Australia.

Absolutely not but sometimes I am sure they wish they could. There has been a few attempts in the past but the ones who tried were punished severely, potentially career ending.
as far as the Ghana game goes the cards were not necessarily the problem. However - the offsides (in fact twice by Adriano) on the second goal were hard to swallow. This happened just when Ghana was pressing and right before the half. I still think Ghana should be very proud. And I love APPIAH - GO FENERBAHCE!

Yes they can, FIFA is introducing a new experiment. They are putting on the worse referees in all the matches and waiting for someone to punch the referee. When they do, they will be proclaimed the greatest player in the world, with a ceremony etc.

Ok, this is how you do it,, if your team is being crucified by the ref,, you substitute one of your players with a player specially selected as the "ref basher",, this player has no skills other than being a thug (you could use an ex rugby player) and is totally expendable so you bring him on and whammo,,, In this WC I recon they would have run out of refs before the final 16 was decided.

To those ref who made some lousy calls?
That'd be awesome, man! haha ...
However, that'll do some damage to the player's reputation and career, as he's supposed to show high level sportsmanship.
I suggest players who are playing their last game (about to retire) do that, that'd be justice, hehe ... (can't believe I said that!!) LOL ...

I'd love to see a player slide-tackle a ref! Especially if the ball was right there - "hey ref, you were in the way, I was going for the ball!" How hilarious would that be?
