Avoid using hot water on that area, it will dry your skin out more. Apply Aloe Vera gel or lotion to the burnseveral times a day. Do not use any oil or petroleum based products on a sunburn. Stay out of the sun and allow your body to heal. If the burn doesn't get better or you notice any unusual growths caused by the sunburn make an appointment with your doctor. Next time use sunscreen that protects against UVA and UVB rays. Protect your skin, good luck to you.

Use something called "Ocean Potion Ice". You can buy it at Wal-Mart, Target, etc. It's a blue gel lotion that soothes and cools the burn, promotes healing with aloe and keeps the skin moisturized. It's the only thing that I've ever found that works so well on sunburns.
Then...next time...use sunscreen!

First thing is put aloe vera on it. Let it sit untouched by clothing. It will hurt when you take hot showers and eventully it will peel, pull off the dead skin, It will go away soon, don't worry%%$$!!
