Unfortunatly the Chicago Cubs will not come out of their slump once again this year. As always we will continue to be Cubs fans reguardless of weather or not they are winning or losing because thats the kind of fans that we are.

Sorry, but I do not think they will. They are loaded with injuries, are so far behind now, and they seem so unwilling to trade to improve, that I think they are doomed to further defeat and suffering for their avid fans. Every year at the beginning of the season, we are told that this is the Cubs' year. Good PR, but not good results on the field.

The only chance is to fire Dusty Baker as well as the President of Baseball operations at the Tribune Company. Then they need to give up on Wood and Prior, get some outfielders who can throw the ball into the infield, a leadoff hitter who can get on base and a bullpen that can get outs. Once they do that they should be fine....

Not after tonights game-they had my Brewers beaten, then thre the game away. Not even Derek Lee, or the ghost of Harry Carey
can save the Cubbies this year. They can't win at home.

As usual, they are going to blame their manager; fire him; and continue to lose. They just have too many injuires in their pitching staff. I don't hink they ever will be healthy enough to finish a season. Time to look at offseason acquisitions...again.
