If you are not pregnant (which swallen anckles and wrists can occure in mid to late prenancy) you should make sure that you are alright and visit a doctor. usually it means you are retaining water. have you consumed a lot of salty foods latley? Drink water to help flush out your system, and elevate your legs above your heart. if the swelling does not go down in a few days, or gets worse, consult your dr. it could be something more serious if its something new.
I have to take a medication daily to keep from swelling, but that has to do with fibromyalgia

I wouldn't say your obese. The swelling could be sodium intake, as well as the heat, and how long your on your feet all day. Also, sitting in one place for a long period of time can have its effect. If this persist, consult your physician, because it could become serious. Retaing water places alot of strain on your heart. Good luck.

Its sounds like you are retaining water, if you eating salting foods or salt end your diet with salt. Heart disease is the number 1 killer, salt does more damage then you think, see your doctor soon, he will give you a script for water pills, and guide you in a positive direction. If you don't congestive heart failure will happien to you.

Fluid retention- which tends to be a problem for overweight people. Try drinking lots of water to encourage your body to let go of the fluid.
Good luck! I've never had that problem myself, but I have seen it. And it doesn't look like much fun.

DO NOT DRINK MORE FLUIDS THAN YOU NORMALLY DO TIL YOU SEE A DOCTOR AND RULE OUT ANY HEART CONDITION INCLUDING CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE!
You could have high blood pressure, a kidney problem or anything causing the ankle swelling. Please get a complete checkup ASAP. Better safe than sorry
