'Lockjaw' is tetanus and a headache would be the least of your problems. It does, however, sound very much like TMJ, or Tempero-Mandibular Joint. ?Does your jaw pop or make a noise when you chew or yawn? Perhaps, you can ask your dentist. Very best wishes....

I really doubt that you have lock jaw and it just comes and goes. Although it sounds like you have a bad jaw and it can cause headaches. You should go to a doctor and ask them to check it out.

Yes, I have it all the time, also from grinding your teeth when you sleep. Lock Jaw is also known as TMJ. That is something you will need to speak to your dentist about. He can either do surgery to fix it to re-allign your jaw, so you don't get anymore headaches, or give you some sort of mouth device that you have to wear at night so you can sleep peacefully.

It definitely can cause a "tension headache" and can be hard on your teeth. You should get it checked-out and treated. The muscles that attach your jaw to your head are very powerful (for chewining) so if they are spasming it can really hurt.
