I am a Turkish fan and I never lost interest in it although my team is not even playing here. In fact some may argue that despite the fact that we deserved to go, we were unfairly treated by FIFA in a plot to make sure that the Swiss that house the FIFA governing body and the home country of Sepp Platter is represented at the FIFA WORLD CUP. All victories are at the expense of others, some deserved and some not -- but the show must go on. And football and the world cup is still the greatest show on earth.

Watch the game for the beauty that it is..NOT just because Arena's joke of a team is not there anymore...Americans tune out way too easily..THIS is why America WILL NEVER be any good..they go into EVERY cup withut real American support...that means LEARNING THE RULES...and understanding how the game is played..Why is it that Germany, Brasil, Italy and Argentina get calls their way? IT IS NOT for bias...look you can't do anything about the refs..in EVERY tourney there are GOING TO BE REF ISSUES..SEE 2006 NBA FINALS..2006 SUPERBOWL...ANNUAL NCAA TOURNEYS..etc...but the point is..if you attack the referees/officials/judges etc..for being scandelous ..you are attacking the integrity of the game and that is a SERIOUS accusation towards the sport itself..it is not to say that teams can't get paid to throw games..scandals still occur..see Italian A League..but..it is the exception..not the rule..

I never lost the interest in football. The only thing is that when your team has a chance of making it out of the First round or they had a shot of getting out of Round of 16 and they lost, you feel very dissapointed/sad feeling. But by the next day u get over it now im with Argentina. Go Argentina!

I thought I would, but I've enjoyed a lot of the matches. There have been some great stories at this World Cup, and they're only going to get better.

Nope, it's not the same when your team is out, because of the tension and excitement of watching your own team, but still, i hope to see a few classic matches... i think Germany vs Argentina is shaping up to be a classic match.

I think Italy vs Ukriane will be a snoze fest... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... im falling asleep just thinking of it.
