The fact that dating and courtships are called a "game," and no one ever corrects them on this incorrect point of view. No aspect of life is a game, and the human mind is certainly not, either. So, arrogance is probably what makes anyone fake...

i concur. men are fake because society builds them up to be the providers, protectors and king of the domain. not all men were built for this responsibility and thus become fake to appear so.
