I agree with you totally. Women should not abort babies just because they don't want them. They should have thought about that before they opened their legs. Abortion should be made illegal, that way women are more cautious when they decide to have sex. Babies happen, condoms break, it is not the baby's fault. The baby should not pay the ultimate price because of your lack of responsibility. Sex is a big responsibility and most people do not realize this. This is why I do not believe in pre-marital sex. I think sex should only be done when you are married because when you marry someone then you plan to have children. Abortion is wrong because it gives idiots a way to save their pathetic way of life.
PS. If you are raped then I guess it is ok to abort because it wasn't your fault but other than that it is wrong.

I'm an extreme liberal about everything except the abortion issue. As long as we don't know for sure when life begins, it could be murder. And one does have to wonder when the rights of the unborn child outweigh the rights of the woman carrying it.
But the people who condone it, believe it is the right of the woman to chose because it's a part of her body as long as it's inside her. And women who have abortions do so for different reasons. Usually, because they don't feel they can take care of a baby. They must in their mind believe that it's not a living thing, yet, or I don't see how they can do it. But you do know it has a heartbeat, practically from the very begining.
Some people believe it's a living thing from before conception, just in the potential of the egg or sperm. Some believe it's a living thing from conception. Possibly the majority believe it's a living thing from around the 7th month when the lungs are fully formed and it could survive outside the mother's womb. Others don't believe it's a living thing until it's born, naturally, after 9 months. I don't believe I know for sure, and prefer to err with caution that's it's possibly a living thing from conception or at least the 2nd or 3rd month when it can be recognized as a child.
Unfortunately, until there's some kind of proof when life exactly begins, there will always be people who believe in abortion. And we know there will always be people who don't have enough sense to prevent pregnancy when they aren't prepared to care for a child.
If it were up to me, I'd opt for more counseling and easier adoptions as a way to stop so many abortions from being performed.

No matter what I think a woman's choice whether or not to have an abortion is between the woman herself and her doctor. Men who are against abortion really annoy me because they will NEVER have to carry a child inside them for nine months and give birth to that child. A man can always choose whether to be in their child's life. Many women are left to raise their children alone because the father ditched them for whatever reason. I personally hope I never have to have an abortion because it is in a sense ending a life--but it is something that is a choice that can only be made for a woman. So if I hypothetically got pregnant right now would I have an abortion? Yes. Would it be easy? No. Would I feel good about it? No.
Before the pro-life people say what about adoption let's get REALLY honest, in the US adoption sucks, African-American and Hispanic babies are among the last to get adopted and the longer they stay in the adoption system the less likely they are to be adopted. I would not trust this country's adoption system with a puppy let alone a human being.
I would rather my child not live at all than have a bad life. Call it selfish if you want. If my child would have a disease I would not want to put him/her through that. I'm pro-choice simply because no matter what mine or anyone else's feelings about abortion the choice is ultimately the woman's plain and simple.

Because they can't afford to take care of a child.
It's better to abort, than to give life and then trash it!
This world is filled with orphaed children.Look at Africans and other low-intelligence cultures:they pop out a baby twice a year when they can't afford even ONE!
Bringing an innocent child is a big responsibilty and should not be practiced as a sport!

Sounds like you are just here to rant about your beliefs. Your question is unrealistic. Every person who gets an abortion has a reason for it. Some women do it because the fetus is a product of rape and they don't want to remember this horrific incident for the rest of their lives.
Some women abort because they are not ready to have a baby, emotionally or/and financially. If a woman is not financially able to care for a child, she may have to turn to the system for support. This puts a burden on our welfare system.
Some women find out their baby will be mentally or physically challenged and they don't feel it's fair to let that child live like that.
Some women are not fit to be mothers and are just doing what they believe to be the responsible thing.
Many women could not handle giving brith to a baby then giving it up for adoption. The foster care system is already filled with children of all ages who have no parents.
You should ask yourself what you plan to do to change things. Instead of picketing against abortion, you should do something proactive like adopt some children or become a foster parent. This will really make a difference in someone's life. But fighting for pro-life is a losing battle.
As fo your beliefs, I respect them. Just like I would want you to respect my beliefs. I don't like anyone, including my parents or spouse to tell me what to do and how to live my life. I don't want a stranger doing the same thing. How I live my life and treat my body is my right and quite frankly, none of your business. I'm sure you would appreciate a non-meddling life too. I have never had an abortion and I'm not sure I would ever have one. I have never criticised my friends for doing this. Again, it's none of my business.
Why be such a busy-body and worry about others when you have bigger challenges ahead of you.
And as for your arguments about religion and Jesus, in today's society, less people believe in the bible teachings. And my opinion is that we should live for ourselves, not for a character in a book who we never met.
If Jesus was really the son of God, why hasn't he come back? The world is a much more sin-filled place today and we could use someone like him to help feed the starving, end the AIDS crisis, end genocide, etc. The fact that no one has come to save us again is because he was just a man with a message that he wanted everyone to follow. And it worked.....for awhile.

I have to say... Nice way to win an argument. You ask a rhetorical question, then tell them they can't answer with anything you don't want to hear. I love it.
How about this though, I don't care what they do, if it is a sin for them to do it, then so be it. Who will ultimately be responsible come judgment day? Not you or I. So why make it an issue? It does not concern you so go eat ****. I hate when people put their noses where they don't belong... And you baptists seem to be the worst about it as of late.
I do not condone abortion by the way. I think it is morally repugnant(look it up), But I also think it not not one damn bit my business, and least of all the governments...
Jake R, you are so wrong about your judging quote from the bible. The bible says not to make hypocritical judgments.... God gave us a brain and he expects us to use, that means making judgments.

If you don't know the answer to this you need to educate yourself more about the plight of unwanted children, rape, and poverty. You have no right to force me or any other woman to have a child that we cannot afford, did not want, and would not be loved.
And before everyone hates me, NO, I have never had an abortion! It's a personal decision between a woman and her doctor only! Or for someone like you, between you and your religion. My best advice to you is don't have one. Make sure you practice safe sex and use birth control and you won't have to find out what the answer is to your own question.

Your argument makes no sense. What are you, 12? You are just making up stuff to make your self feel better about the choices you make. It's what people do every day. They rationalize aborting fetuses, the rationalize killing their wives, they rationalize beating people of a different ethnic group, the rationalize standing outside of abortion clinics and making judgements about people they don't know while holding a book that states "judge not lest ye be judge" and "vengence is mine, sayeth the Lord". Whatever you have to tell yourself to make yourself feel better. The reality is that their actions will not impact your judgement, and vice versa. So mind your own business, teach your children your values and hope that they follow your example if you have convinced yourself that you are right.

For the same reason nature does; it just doesn't want the fetus to become a full term human. Nature kills fetuses and babies all the time, it's called miscarriage before birth and disease after birth. Yet the Baptists don't go around getting mad at nature! Makes no sense, does it?

I don't believe in abortions, but y'all should know that even if a child is born into a family that hates them they can turn out to be a good person. WebMaster Jessie came from a father that abuse her and her mother never took care of her, her sister, and her brother. Jessie did all of that on her own. She's also been throw a miscarriage and knows how it feels to have your little one taken from you. I know all this because I'm her husband and I'm proud to be her husband.
