The person who first decided to torture someone. The very thought of such an act on anything in abominable. No matter what someone has done there is no excuse. To inflict drawn out pain while hearing the victims cries and not feel remorse is....I have no word for such a horror.

Debatable, you can go the bat *%# crazy serial killer route ala Bundy and Manson or you can go to the big time guys like Stalin, Hitler etc. I guess it depends on your perspective, ie- body count or just sick.
