I was asking to see if anyone has experience this!Thanks............kick em when they're down huh? Anyway, I live in the country, no friends or family to help me and NO TRANSPORTATION. My car blew up so I had to cancel all my appts. Also had a hysterectomy so no periods. I did go to the doc for the 1st one and they referred me to a surgeon, now I can't get there! I was just wondering. Thank you to those that offered respectful advice. I thought thats what this forum was for. Guess I was wrong!

Straight up from someone who has been there/done that, you need to get to the doctor. Despite what a lot of people think, it IS possible for a cancerous lump to be painful and there's no way of knowing what any lump is without having it checked out. s

Truthfully, it's probably nothing...most breast lumps are begnin anomolies like cysts (which are painful), etc. However, the sooner you have it checked out the better off you will be. If it's nothing, you'll be able to stop worrying and get on with your life and if it's cancer, you'll have a much better chance at having a successful treatment and recovery the sooner you start treatment.

Defenitly does not sound like melanoma ... And if ur beneath 30 it's extra in favour of a condition known as fibroadenosis . They are tough not cancerous lumps of usual breast tissue which react little overly to ur hormones ... In general ur doc might give u some drug treatments to take customarily during ur durations cuz that is when they traditionally damage or u could want a small surgical procedure which is practically a day care system. But anywayz to rule out cancer 100% u ought to have exams performed so kindly do go and take them . The doc would on the whole ask for a mammogram (xray of breast) ct scan and stuff like that bye take care let me knw what ur doc stated :)

Breast cancer does not hurt. I had Breast cancer and it does not hurt. I had a lump so I know this from experience. My sister is full of lump and they are terribly painful, she does not have cancer. They just keep an eye on them. Lumps with pain is a good sign. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't have them checked. It is better to be safe then sorry. I waited to have mine checked and I was in Stage 3 for Breast cancer. I was only 37. I am 40 now. I advise you have them checked now. Good luck and I will pray for you. Gopd Bless!!!

if it's not cancerous then it could be an infected milk gland. they can form especially at the bra lines. Try to put an ice pack on them and rub them if you experience discharge from the nipple this could be it, but to be honest and not scary in any way, whether your car blew up or not you should go to the doctor. The longer you wait even if it is an infection you can become very sick. Antibiotics should be prescribed for an infection and if it is cancer and you wait, you might as well be digging your grave.

Have you had kids? Please see a doc. Why on earth did you skip the appointment with the cutter? You would probably be feeling much better by this time. I had a breast infection after having my youngest kid and it hurt too bad to even hang the towel on the rod. It was just awful. Once I had the surgery...THAT DAY I felt better...it didn't hurt anymore! Please go and get it taken care of.

Cancerous lumps are not painful. You probably have a benign lump or you have a lot of fibroids in your breast. Either way, if you are uncomfortable you should go to the doctor. But if it is painful, it is not cancer.

You need to go to the doctor and have it checked out. Also try cutting out all caffeine as it can sometimes lead to a very painful swellng of the breast tissue.

I would think to be on safe side you need to reschedule that appt with a surgeon. The only sure way to tell if it isn't malignant is a biopsy. Please do go get medical help and good luck. Pain is not something to mess around with when it comes to your health.

Yes, they can hurt. I am a 22 year survivor of breast cancer and I know from my own experience that they can ache, cause sharp stabbing pains, or not hurt at all. I definitely recommend you have them checked out!
