No joke, my sons father is in prison and he doesnt like to write letters to him so I figured if he could email him it would be easier. My son is only 8 and I am not with his father so there is no communication between me and him.

Nope, sorry, your son's dad is just gonna have to get used to doing things the old fashioned way.
There are a very few facilities doing a "test drive" of allowing some very limited e-mail access but this pilot program is currently limited to a small handful of inmates and the odds are incredibly thin that your inmate is among them... it can't hurt to call the prison and ask, but I would not place any bets.

If you mean like IM, no. Some prisons do allow well behaved inmates e mail access though.

If they had access to a computer you could.

You would each have to know who you were, as screen names.

Technically possible but legally prohibited.

If your question is a joke, then, its possible because their is only a PRISONWALL. You cant talk to fireman because there is a FIREWALL! (i just hope you get it).
