I hope so. (I am from South Florida) Hopefully, they will not get a big ego and that will screw up their game. Alonzo is the sixth or seventh man and if he retires that will lessen the likelihood of a repeat performance. Every player is crucial, and Shaq and everyone else on the team needs to know how to shoot a foul shot. Is it that hard, I mean they are professional. The FT% for Dallas far exceeded Miami's. Those free throws could have won the series in four or five games.

they can, but they won't. it won't be next year. one reson for this is the very promising batch of this year's draft. the players are, i believe, capable of bringing teams up, with the likes of aldridge, reddivk, bragnani, willians and the rest, i think there's a possibility of another exciting playoffs.
Second, Shaq is so unpredictable when it comes to injuries. many players like Yao Ming, T-Mac, Amare, have been suffering injury, causing downfalls on their respective things. it is noteworthy that the miami heat did NOT win the eastern finals last season with Shaq out. he's a bit old, honestly.
third, the teams are now on to scouting the heat which means more tactics to stop shaq and zo. coaches have used the post season to find various ways to stop shaq. wade cannot bring the heat to the finals by himself sa seen in last year's season.
maybe this year, a young team can make an impact, say the hornets or the nets, with those 2 consecutive draft picks at their hand. Ã

I am a Heat fan but all I can say is, it's up to them. If they really want it, then they should work hard and strive to repeat winning the championship. They do have good players in the team and Dwyane Wade is also there. They also need to train themselves more because, honestly, some of them are really not in their best shape to play basketball. They may also need some younger players in the team. If they wanna win it again, then they should do their best even if it is only in their practices. It will be hard for them, 'coz there are so many teams there that are also good. It will be hard, but it's not Impossible. They need hard work, determination, and teamwork and good coaching, for them to repeat. :)

Itz not gonna be easy but its not impossible either. Next year is going to be very competitive. The heat can do it if they make a coouple opf trades for sum younger players. They keep mournining and he gives u good minutes. The team dynamics are gonna chnage. The offense will run through wade now instead of oneal. I expect since the players will be healthier for sum of thse guys to have better years. Thier champions they have expeireince together now. I wouldnt underestimate this team esepcially since dwade will only get better. Shaq is still gonna produce da best numbers for a center but with less shaq expect all hell to break lose with wade. TYhis guy is gonna have one of those crazy *** year. So yea its possible. I give them a 50/50 chnace depending on who they get to sorround the diesel and wade.

I believe that they will repeat. They have a very good team with a lot of talent and a good coach. They have two good point guards in Payton and J-Will, three good three-point shooters; J-Will, Antoine Walker, and Posey, the best center combo in the league with 'Zo and Shaq, and they have a great forward in Haslem. They also have Dwayne Wade, the best player in the league by my standards, and he can only get better, I mean, how many people can say that they led a team to a championship in their third year in the league?... very few people...

nope,it's kinda hard though, coz there are a lot of old players in the team already, basically we only know miami as they have dwayne wade and o'neal, however, now o'neal is too old, during the finals he hardly score and move fast,he's 34,payton is 37,mourning also quite the same, they need to regenerate young and good players to support wade or else, the win will only be a fairy tale

no!!! they will relax and the other east squads will pass them by. Wade will try to stop the bleeding, but the desire is gone from the rest of the team, and the pressure is off Riley. Look forward to an average season from this team. not to mention the uncertainty of who is coming back.
