And no more people trying to appear intelligent by making remarks regarding the "read" and "hear" aspects of the question...of course, we are all well aware that to "read the mind" of someone is a figure of speech, signifying the ability to ascertain what one is thinking. Clearly, no actual "seeing" or "hearing" is involved. So you'd really just appear ignorant and inane to point this out.

Oooh this is a good question. Let's just say that a Neocon is sort of a like a dog in that he only sees in Black and White. The Neocon has no use for debate or dialogue. It's his way or the highway.

Today's Neocons really believe that we are under grave threat, but they don't have the time or inclination to understand why and what we could do to pull the "barb from the eye of our enemy".

You know a lot of people walk around with their smart alecky -- WWJD, but you know what they don't want the answer, because he wasn't a Neocon.

Here's the truly funny thing about today's Neocons. It used to be that they shored up despotic governments friendly to American Business interests and couldn't care less if human rights were violated, because Neocons don't give a rip about that stuff. That's for Liberals to worry about. But today the Neocons go on and on about Spreading Freedom...the world must be off it's axis because today's Neocons sound more like Liberals than Liberals. Spreading freedom...since when did a Neocon ever really care about that??

Security is what they worship...not freedom.

Of course this answer comes from an unapologetic Liberal, so you have to take it with a grain of salt...I mean what do I know what goes on in the mind of a Neocon and truthfully, I hope I never find out.

In my humble opinion, the neo-con's don't give **** what happens to America. In the first place, most of them are well healed. Most do not and well not serve in the military. But, they are all for some kid from Kansas getting his ars blown off.
What is there passion? I have noticed that they like the idea of domination over other countries. They like the stern father foreign policy. They almost never mention religion, spirituality, faith and so on.
They are clever and well educated, but they missed the history of Greek ethics.
Pray that we do not get a neo-con for President. He would be a lot more clever than Bush, and a neo-con would be literate.
David Brooks the columnist is one, for example. He was oh so committed to the invasion of Iraq, and then when everything went wrong, he apologized and change his tune to "We are winning, We are Winning, kids."
The are not one bit funny.

Neo Con only means neo conservative (see South Park Conservative).... and they probably would be wondering who would pay money to see Al Gore's new movie where he lectures in front of a slide show when Xmen III is out.

depends... some are quite intelligent like Rove and Cheney... most likely it would be filled with the screams of thousands of children as they think about their happiest moments...

Some like Bush would be a vast silence, with the occasional... "that grass is green" and "that puppy is cute" random observation thought thrown in....

You'd hear him trying to figure out why you fabricate lies to undermine your country. Why you have to label everyone. Why you are such hypocrites.

What is a neoncon (maybe a prison inmate that glows in the dark)?

About the same that you'd "hear" if you "read" the mind of anyone.
