like, in an out-and-out fight, who would win? Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell or the main hero from Metal Gear Solid? my opinion, Sam Fisher would kick Snakes a**

Snake would destroy Sam Fisher for one very important reason. Sam is never supposed to be seen. Ever. That means although he has the comabt skills, they aren't as tested as Snake's. Snake isn't supposed to be seen either, but we all know how well that works out.
Snake is also a genetic soldier built for war and created from the genes of "the Ultimate soldier". Sam Fisher is just an amazing agent. If you were talking a stealth battle, I think Sam would have a better chance. But I still think Snake would win because once again, he's been in tougher situations than Fisher ever has.
Sam is awesome though, that's for sure.

I would have to say Snake because Sam Fisher has never had to go up against a Metal Gear. For those who don't know what metal gear is imagine a two story battle tank. Arms Legs and a lot of fire power. Snake with a knife and some cigarettes and snake still wins :).

Personally, I believe Snake would... He is a genetic soldier made for war and spying.. He can overcome any odds there may be. Besides, Sam is a poor opy of Snake...
