Epilobium angustifolium is the genus & species for fireweed, a very common native plant which is especially abundant during Alaska summers on the Kenai Peninsula, among other places. It is in the Evening Primrose family, another E flower which has many varities.

Echinacea? It's also called purple coneflower. Butterflies love it!
Eupatorium purpura? Also called "Joe Pye Weed" and also attracts butterflies.
