You can use an over the counter treatment called "Bikini Zone" to eliminate this problem in the future when you wax or shave your vaginal area... any cortisone cream will give you some immediate relieft..Benedryl Spray relief will work, also Dermaplast spray, it has a percentage of lidocane in it that will "numb" the affected area for a short while. Next time you get waxed or wax yourself, be a little more careful and don't apply it when it is hot enough to adhere to the skin that tightly... they make wax specifically for the bikini area, or better yet, just buy a depilatory such as Venus or Sally Hansen's Brazilian Creme Hair Remover.. getting rid of hair should not be traumatizing..lol Just consider all of your options the next time you want to get rid of the unwanted hair on your body. Good Luck.

You might have to check out a salon near you.
I just got waxed yesterday & the woman said if it started itching or I got ingrown hairs... there were products at salon's that could prevent itching & heal the skin. Good luck!

Not a nurse, but a Mom. Use Gold Bond medicated cream. It will be a bit on the "cool" side, but which would you rather have? Itch...or cool?

When it gets grown back out it will quit itching. Cortisone cream should help heal them up.

Vaseline holds the moisture in and gives relief pretty quick. Oh and watch out for ingrown hairs.

itching usually occurs when the hair regrows. let it grow out, and will eventually stop.
