i want to know what you need to do to get a job writing storylines or booking in the world of pro wrestling

Getting a job as a writer for the WWE requires the following:

1) a bachelor or BS degree in Film, TV, Drama, Media Studies, Communication Studies or equivalent of the area.

2) a minimum of 3-5 years of writing/production experience in network television

3) professional experience as a TV staff in drama and comedy would increase the chance (recommended)

4) know all aspect of TV production (recommended)

5) have to be constantly a creative person

6) know pop culture and trends

7) working closely and efficiently with talents, writers, and producer throughout the process

8) know the audience (recommended)

9) willing to move to Stamford, CT (where the WWE headquarter is located)

10) have knowledge of the show, talent, and storyline

11) have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team

12) have flexible travel schedule (constant travel is required for this job)

Well uh.... you have to get involved in the wrestling business first champ. WWE is the only company that I know that hires writers with no experience in the business. A booker is a position that not just anyone can do. It involves generally knowing the wrestling business inside and out, and pretty much the only way you can learn that is by being in the wrestling business in some capacity for a good number of years.

first of all you better beable to write good scripts bad writing kills ratings and profit ,wcw perfect example lotta big stars bad writing thats why the wwe is still around good writing
