I'm running an iMac with Panther, OS 10.4... and purchased a Fantom Drive. I thought I could just "drag and drop" my Mac HD onto the Fantom Drive and everything would be copied over...BUT...instead it copies over the folders only. When I try to copy over data files, I get an error message. Is there some type of configuration I have to do to the Fantom Drive? I really need to free up some space on my iMac HD. Thanks in advance for the help. I'm desperate for an answer, so I'm posting this in another computer area also. Please help me!

Thanks, Nathan - a follow-up for you...I believe it is set up as FAT 32...although I changed the "drive name" a bit - but still includes FAT 32. Would this affect the drive?

The only suggestion I can think of off hand is to check and make sure the formatting is correct on the drive. Use HFS+, unless you want to do multi-platform transfers, then go with FAT 32.
