What is the best way to find a safe, normal roommate?

My girlfriend is looking for a new roommate and needs a normal, safe non freek to live with. Any tips on how to find someone would be appreciated!

Make and print out a questionaire that will give you a short history of a prospective roommate. Have the applicants fill it out and you review the information on each. Be sure and ask questions that are pertinent to your desired living conditions and character likes or dislikes. Save the questionaire as a template and sell it to others. Once you have printed it out, write a code or file number at the bottom of the page. This will assure you of copyright infringments. If anybody wants to use the form or format, they have to get your permission, and pay, like $2.00 per form. If this is too much for you, then sit down and make demands as to what you expect from a roommate. You might want to get an agreement in writing, just to be sure.

Post on places like church bulletin boards, etc but if she needs one fast and you have to advertise in the newspaper, conduct interviews, have some questions ready to ask each prospective person like:

"How do you feel about boyfriends sleeping over?" and questions direct ones so she knows if she could stand living with the person. I would make up a list of rules and make the person sign it too when they moved in.
